The Devotion of a Godly Man
Topic: Daniel Passage: Daniel 6:1–6:28
Today we find Daniel rising to the top like sweet cream. “Daniel became distinguished above all the other high officials and satraps because an excellent spirit was in him” (Dan. 6:3). We could say that Daniel, though a modest man, lived out loud. His faith went before him, even to the extent of praying in front of open windows for all to see. But as is often the case, jealousy crept in from his peers and a plan was put in place to bring him down. A plan that would eventually send him to a den of lions.
